2010 Wrangle Regatta
White Rock Boat Club
June 5-6, 2010
The 2010 Wrangle Regatta was held June 5-6 with Sandy Denison taking first in the Butterfly Fleet and Jacque Roy taking first in the Laser Fleet. Saturday was a great day of sailing with winds in the 12-18 range gusting to 23 throughout the day. A very special thanks to the race committee consisting of John Diggins, PRO, Anderson Jones, Alvin Skelton, along with newcomers John Bourland and Audrey set very long courses for the two morning races and two afternoon races that wore us out given the balmy 100 plus temperatures. A very special thanks goes to WRBC who hosted this event. Under the direction of Megan Doran, WRBC commodore, the club has updated facilities that includes newly replaced finger piers along with an overall air of vibrancy. Thanks Megan for all that you have done and are doing for WRBC as it is appreciated and was enjoyed this weekend.
